A popular Soviet songs, known far beyond the borders of Russia. It was first performed in 1938. It is dedicated to the experiences of a girl Katyusha whose boyfriend went to the war. There is a version that because of this song the soldiers of World War II gave the name "Katyusha" to rocket artillery combat vehicles series "BM"
